Suffolk Recording Studios offers truly affordable rates for professional recording in an acoustically designed live room. Most "affordable" studios today are located in residential settings where the recording space is often a spare bedroom, garage or basement. It is very difficult or near impossible to design a proper acoustic space to record vocals, drums, percussion and other acoustic instruments in this type of studio.

Suffolk Recording Studios is located in a commercial building with live room dimensions of 40 feet by 25 feet with a 12 foot ceiling. The Control Room is 16 feet by 12 feet with a 9 foot ceiling. We also have available an adjoining room with dimensions of 20 feet by 12 feet with 9 foot ceilings if needed. A vocal booth is available which can accomodate up to 4 singers. There are no parallel surfaces in the live room and a special acoustic wall acts as a reflector/absorber and bass trap all in one. The musicians can see each other and work together as a group with ease. And we are priced right in the range of "home" studios.
