Denise Donahue appears courtesy of Musicalty Records. Denise is an amazingly talented singer, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist. She plays guitar (acoustic & electric), bass and piano. She sings with a style all her own. Filling the void between the likes of Sarah McLachlan and Tori Amos. The music and lyrics tell stories of emotional journeys through the deserts of loneliness, pain, abandonment, longing and healing. She touches on the utmost depths of human emotion an draws you into her, sometimes, hypnotic vocals. All songs are written, arranged, performed and produced by Denise Donahue. The emphasis is on the entire composition. With well written lyrics that evoke emotion and beautiful vocal melodies which are accompanied by a complex harmonic structure- every element within each song plays an important role and together combine to create a complete musical experience which is just as inspiring as it is impressive.
