Live in the Lobby-Patchogue Theatre
2007/2008 Season
RORIE KELLY, JOHN-FLOR
and JAY SCOTT

Three great Long Island singer-songwriters –
alone and together - each celebrating the release of a new album in a
special Live in the Lobby performance.
Rorie Kelly writes songs, breaks strings,
screams, sings pretty, and then screams some more. She will, in short,
rock your socks, which is what she did the past two times she performed in
the Lobby. Some things she's done that she thinks are cool are open for
Alix Olsen at a V-Day Event, organized a Women Who Will Rock Your Socks
concert series, Participated in the Musicians for Peace Project by
organizing musical consciousness raising events and played a whole lot of
cool places in NY, NJ, CT and RI. She celebrates the release of her new
album, Wish Upon
a Bottlecap with this performance at Live In the Lobby.

In 2004, John Flor Sisante
released his first album The Music of Things, and Rafer Guzman of Newsday called it "a collection of 10 terrific
tracks...throughout the disc, he puts his stamp on each song in
surprising, delightful ways.” In October 2007, Guzman said “Sisante
recently posted three new tracks to his MySpace page, and they're
terrific. This time around, Sisante is really stretching his creative
boundaries”. John-Flor’s
second album will be released this summer and he will play a number of
songs from it Live in the Lobby. www.myspace.com/johnflor
Singer-Songwriter Jay Scott’s “rich
voice of gritty satin makes his music instantly compelling. Although born
and raised on Long Island, his deep, raspy tone is pure Delta blues in
origin, and is as intoxicating as southern whiskey.” (Jennett Meriden
Russell, The Press of Manorville & The Moriches). After writing and
polishing his songs through regular live performances in the New York area
and beyond, Scott has returned to his home town of Patchogue, gotten
married, bought a house, had a baby, and recorded his first Album, Homegrown which he will celebrate with this performance, Live In the Lobby. www.jayscottlive.com
Plus the Songwriter Spotlight with Corey Balsamo, Aaron Palmadessa, Seamus
Sullivan and more!! $10.00
JUNE 5 CAMERA-HEAD SHARK In Concert
The final show of
the 2007-2008 season

Newsday rated
Camera-Head Shark's album Oh, You as one of the top ten albums released by
Long Island artists in 2007. Coming in at number two on the list, Rafer
Guzman said the album is "Bright and bubbly with a distinctively nutty
flavor, this is the most refreshing disc from Long Island in years. File
somewhere between Camper Van Beethoven and Cake." Bill Dvorak of The Deli
Magazine said "Camera-Head Shark offer up the sort of hyperactive indie-pop
that infects your body like some virus that's grown resistant to
antibiotics – once the stuff's in you, you won't be able to kill it off.
But nor should you, as CHS play the kind of infectious, multi-layered and
multi-harmonied songs that guarantee for a listen so fun it hurts. From
the wacky, pitch-shifted vocals and playful punk chorus of "Kurbana Novain,"
to the poignant, piano-laced waltz of "Face the Day," CHS deliver a sound
that weaves so many influences through its sonic depths that there is
certain to be something to grab everyone's attention." http://cameraheadshark.com
Opening the show will be acoustic sets from
Vampires and Charlie Mirro. $10.00
