On June 20th Paradiddle Records celebrated Ray Davies 65th birthday by presenting his music live on stage at the University Cafe in Stony Brook. The packed house was treated to the music of the Kinks as performed by Maura Kennedy, Caroline Doctorow, Gene Casey and The Lone Sharks and Russ Seeger and the Celluloid Heroes. The Celluloid Heroes were joined by special guests James O'Malley, Mary Lamont, Jim Marchese and Matt Stachin. The event was captured on film by Jim Marchese. Click on any photo for a larger view.
