- Chris Cubeta & the Liars Club
While his lyrics combine nuance-soaked imagery with a brash, incisive point-of-view, Cubeta's sound is equally eclectic, combining the wispy, sensitivity of the singer/songwriter with the unbridled thrill of rock and roll. Faithful is an artistic declaration, full of offbeat characters, ecstatic revelations and unfiltered emotion. It is the kind of record that unabashedly announces the arrival of a new and necessary young artist whose urgent and desperate approach to songwriting is all too rare in contemporary music. Says Jason Warburg of The Daily Vault, "(Faithful) is literate roots-rock of the first order, full of sharply-drawn characters, powerful arrangements and raw revelations, sung in a voice passionate enough to dare any cynic to believe."
Cubeta's live show is bolstered by his high-octane band The Liars Club – Jeff Berner on guitars, Marc Capaldo on drums and John Passineau on bass. Each brings his own flair to a show that is a dynamic blend of passionate, guitar-infused energy and down-home, rootsy melancholy. Cubeta presides over every gig with the subtle and sure hand of a seasoned performer, deftly alternating between wowing the crowd with his guitar and telling the silhouetted stories of the unsung.
Cubeta is an accomplished musician, who played nearly every instrument on Sugar Sky, as well as a skilled producer. A longtime resident of upstate New York, he moved to Brooklyn in 2005 and has already secured a number of prime slots at some of the city's most prestigious rooms – The Bitter End, Trash, Pianos, The Delancey, Crash Mansion and Rockwood Music Hall to name a few.

- Madison Ambush
Think Faith No More meets Sanford & Son. New York hard-rockers MADISON AMBUSH excite the senses with their brand of non-ironic 80s hard rock with a modern edge. Don't expect a generic "The" band following the current trend of re-hashed Cure and Clash wannabes. But also don't expect a big hair band. Think riff-driven, straight ahead hook-heavy rock songs that are undeniable from start to finish with zero pretention.
Guitarist Joe Brannan, encouraged by his radio play success with the Cleveland-based band, American Rockstar, sought to form his own band in the Big Apple. Through a torturous audition process that lasted over a full year, he assembled the band piece by piece, first enlisting drummer Don Donneruno and bassist Frank Ruso to cement the rhythm section, and later lead singer Marc Andrew to complete the lineup.
The result is a solid lineup of class-A musicians who have been through the system. Andrew's showmanship guides the audience through an intense live performance, while the collective stage experience of hundreds of prior shows is quickly apparent in the band's professional presentation. See for yourself.

Leaving pretense and genre in the dust, Marco Conelli creates a unique world with his music. Jubilation and pain, immediacy and retrospection exist side-by-side with no contradiction. A triumph of postmodern songwriting.

- Guilty Pleasures
Lets face it, when you go out for a night of live music you don’t want to hear the same songs that every cover band plays. That’s where Guilty Pleasures comes in. You want freshness, high energy songs that you know and love….but would never admit. Not only are they fun to listen to, but Guilty Pleasures is a great band to watch!!
Being lovers of music themselves, the boys of Guilty Pleasures know what they love and want to hear and put it all together to make a night of partying with Guilty Pleasures one of the best times around!! They can quickly change from rock, to disco to power ballads to please everyone’s appetite. The boys love of music is evident from the second they hit the stage to the last note of the last song.
Born from various bands around Long Island each member brings years of experience to the table and are glad they found their musical soul mates in this band. Starting with drummer Keith Boyle, Big Daddy himself, formerly of Poproxx. He is the backbone of the band and his steady beats keep the band in gear and the booties shaking! Steve Festa, who formerly played with The Martha Fockers, is a high energy bassist whose stage presence electrifies the crowd. Bert Pallini’s stellar guitar playing leaves the audience (as well as his band mates) in awe. Nick Troiano’s keyboards adds a dimension to the band What can be said about lead vocalist Alex Anthony? His vocal range and stage antics make a Guilty Pleasure show a true “Pleasure..” Put this all together and you have one of the best parties around.

- Squirrels From Hell
Outraged by the artistic compromises they see all around them, Squirrels From Hell have intensified their focus on providing the youth of our planet with a musical vision of unparalleled value. While despair, disillusionment, and betrayal by friends are uncommon themes for bands seeking a global stage, SFH have shown that these can be forged into musical weapons fully capable of slaying the dual-headed dragon of apathy and inaction. Check out the site, listen to their music, and get ready to join the SFH army as they once again march fearlessly into the fen, ready to destroy those who would steal your dreams. Oh, and don't forget to go to their gigs, they're friggin' awsome!
